He Gives More Grace (4 of 4) Series: Amazing Grace James 4:6-10 A.. THE PERSONAL MINISTRY OF GRACE 1.      Psalm 143:4, "Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; My heart is appalled within me.” B.  When We Are At Our Hardest 2.      Jeremiah 31:2.  "Thus says the LORD, “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness--Israel, when it went to find its rest." 3.      "Then the lame will leap like a deer, And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy For waters will break forth in the wilderness And streams in the Arabah." Isa. 35:6. C.  When We Are At Our Weakest 1.    Isaiah 40:29, "He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power." The world says, "When you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hold on." God says, "When you are at the end of your rope, my grace will be sufficient." 2.    THE PROVIDED MEASURE OF GRACE a.    God's Nature b.    John 3:16 is a great statement of His giving: "God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son." We read in Psalm 84:11, "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly " c.    1 Tim. 6:17,  “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy" 3.    The measure of grace is also based on: a.    Our Need b.    2 Corinthians 4:15 we read of God's "abundant grace." c.     2 Corinthians 9:14 we read of God's "exceeding grace." d.    1 Timothy 1:14 Paul combined both ideas and spoke of God's "exceeding abundant" grace. e.    1 Peter 4:10 Peter spoke of the "manifold" grace of God. 4.    His grace will be sufficient! Lastly,: 5.    THE PROMISED MOMENT OF GRACE a.    Hebrews 4:16, "Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need "  b.    A Total Supply Of Grace c.    A Timely Supply Of Grace 6.    God gives more grace. He gives and gives and gives. He gives all we need. He gives when we need it. Whatever and whenever, God's grace is always sufficient. 7.    Do you need God’s Grace…you can not approach God without being dressed with Christ-to be dressed with Christ, you must be baptized. Scripture says it: 8.    Gal 3:27; “for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” 1 Pet 1:16, “Be holy, because I am holy." We cannot approach a Holy GOD with sin in our lives; thru Christ we are made Holy. That is why we CAN approach the throne of grace with boldness & confidence to receive Grace, because of Christ we have the privilege of doing so.   Raul De La Garza
